Course Description
A one year subscription (from date of purchase) to online learning resources and a continuing education course on feline and canine cardiology for veterinarians and vet techs.
This four-module course package is designed to support learners interested in further developing their knowledge and practicing their understanding of veterinary cardiology. Case studies are leveraged to provide a comprehensive educational experience where learners can acquire fundamental skills and practice their knowledge within example scenarios related to cardiology conditions.
Course Outline
This course package consists of the following modules:
Case Study: Chip
- This case study follows the progress of a patient, “Chip,” who presents to a clinic for mainstem bronchial compression.
Case Study: Jingles
- This case study follows the progress of a patient, “Jingles,” who presents to a clinic for tracheal collapse.
Case Study: Sonny
- This case study follows the progress of a patient, “Sonny,” who presents to a clinic for degenerative valve disease.
Case Study: Tuff
- This case study follows the progress of a patient, “Tuff,” who presents to a clinic for pericardial effusion.
Learner Outcomes
By the end of this continuing education course, the learner will:- Demonstrate their understanding of veterinary cardiology
- Implement their fundamental skills in order to practice their knowledge within example scenarios related to cardiology conditions.
