Course Description
Digital Health Literacy Toolkit is an online, self-paced course developed in collaboration with the Telehealth Institute at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. This toolkit serves as an extension of the CEU course Click to Care: Mastering Digital Health Literacy for CHWs and CHWIs.
This course toolkit is designed to support participants throughout their digital health literacy journey by providing practical, accessible learning materials, including step-by-step instructional videos and downloadable how-to guides. By building upon the foundational topics introduced in the main CEU course, this toolkit aims to strengthen participants’ skills and confidence in addressing their own digital health literacy needs.
The course toolkit content includes a combination of original resources developed by the project team and curated materials from trusted external sources. Instructional videos are available in English, and handout materials are offered in both English and Spanish.

Learner Outcomes

This course toolkit is a 1-hour, self-paced, Non-Certified CEU for Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Community Health Worker Instructors (CHWIs).

Prerequisites
This toolkit serves as an extension of the 4-hour CEU course, Click to Care: Mastering Digital Health Literacy for CHWs and CHWIs. Completion of the full Digital Health Literacy CEU course is strongly recommended prior to beginning this Digital Health Literacy Toolkit.
The toolkit is designed for Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Community Health Worker Instructors (CHWIs). This self-paced course provides one (1) hour of non-certified CEU credit, which may be applied toward renewal of a DSHS CHW or CHWI certification.
