Course Description
Poultry Meat Production focuses on the management of birds raised for human consumption, including meeting the physiological needs of meat birds and building relationships with the people who care for them. The course will address all aspects pertaining to rearing birds for human consumption, including the role of commercial integrators in both human and animal well-being as well as environmental manipulation to maximize growth, disease management, and regulatory requirements for marketing poultry meat.Course Outline
