Course Outline
After you complete this course, you will:
- Be able to define a crisis-effective change process.
- Learn the stages of addressing a crisis on campus.
- Identify the importance of effective communication in times of crisis.
- Identify the steps necessary for an investigation.
- Utilize guiding questions when conducting an investigation.
- Understand the importance of mental health in school.
- Understand the negative effects of exclusion and suspension of students.
- Identify the role of principals in maintaining discipline in schools.
- Learn about some challenges principals face in enforcing discipline and implementing effective discipline practices.
