How to Access Your Course in Canvas

NOTE: It may take up to 45 minutes for the registration system to sync with Canvas. 

New User

You will receive a series of 4 emails after you register for a course.

  • Emails one and two will arrive quickly after you enroll.  The first email will be an enrollment confirmation.  The second email will be your receipt.
  • Within the next hour, you will receive the third email. This email will come from Texas A&M University's Continuing and Professional Education (CPED) (notifications@instructure.com), with the subject line "Confirm Registration".  Click on the hyperlinked statement to set your password for Canvas.  Do not adjust your email address.
  • Once you set your password for Canvas, you will receive the fourth email from Texas A&M University's Continuing and Professional Education (CPED) (notifications@instructure.com).  This email has the subject line "Course Invitation".  Click on the link

You can also go to the TAMU CPED website to log in and access your courses once you have completed the registration process.  


 

Existing CPED User
