How to Access Your Course in Canvas

Please see the information below on completing your registration and accessing your course in Canvas.

NOTE:  It can take up to 20 minutes for you to receive these notifications after you have completed your course enrollment. 

  • New User - If this is your first time enrolling in a course with Continuing and Professional Education at Texas A&M University, you will receive a "Confirm Registration" email from Texas A&M University- Continuing and Professional Education (notifications@instructure.com).
    • Click on the hyperlinked statement: "Click here to finish the registration process". 
    • Please do not adjust your email address.
    • Create your password. Click the "Submit" button.
    • You will receive a "Course Enrollment" email from Texas A&M University- Continuing and Professional Education (notifications@instructure.com).
    • Click on "Get Started" to access the course.
      • You can also go to TAMU CPED to log in and access the course.

 

  • Existing CPED User - If you have enrolled in a course with Continuing and Professional Education at Texas A&M BEFORE August 2025, you will receive a "Course Enrollment" email from Texas A&M University- Continuing and Professional Education (notifications@instructure.com).  
    • Click on "Get Started" to access your course.
    • You can also go to TAMU CPED to log in and access the course.
